He stud\u00adied com\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtion at York Uni\u00adver\u00adsity. His cre\u00adative offer\u00adings have been per\u00adformed across North and South Amer\u00adica, Asia, Aus\u00adtralia, and Europe. Recent works include com\u00admis\u00adsions by the world-renowned\u00a0<em>Swingle Singers, Windago<\/em>, and the\u00a0<em>Ser\u00ade\u00adnade! Choral Fes\u00adti\u00adval Wash\u00ading\u00adton\u00a0DC<\/em>\u00a0as part of the Eric Daniel Helms New Works Pro\u00adgram. This past year, Jensen was awarded the Grand Prize by the Inter\u00adna\u00adtional<br \/>\nJohn Lennon\u00a0Song\u00adwrit\u00ading Com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtion in the jazz cat\u00ade\u00adgory, and was the vocal arranger of the\u00a0CARA\u00a0Award-winning Best Jazz Song of the Year. He was also recently inducted as an Asso\u00adciate Com\u00adposer through the Cana\u00addian Music Cen\u00adtre.\u00a0In 2009, he com\u00adpleted his first orches\u00adtral com\u00admis\u00adsion which was pre\u00admiered in Flo\u00adrence, Italy and has since been<br \/>\nper\u00adformed in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Izmir, Turkey; and Stras\u00adbourg, France. Aaron was the\u00a0Composer-in-Residence for the Toronto-based Uni\u00advox Choir from 2007\u20132009. His works have been played on syn\u00addi\u00adcated radio sta\u00adtions world\u00adwide. In 2010, Jensen<br \/>\nco-founded the vocal ensem\u00adble\u00a0<em>Coun\u00adter\u00admea\u00adsure<\/em>, a group he con\u00adtin\u00adues to lead as musi\u00adcal direc\u00adtor and con\u00adduc\u00adtor. \u00a0In addi\u00adtion to his work as a solo per\u00adformer, Aaron has toured and recorded with the Juno-nominated jazz quar\u00adtet,\u00a0<em>Cadence<\/em>\u00a0from 2006\u20132011, and<br \/>\ncon\u00adtin\u00adues to sing with the 80s vocal band,\u00a0<em>Retroc\u00adity<\/em>. Jensen\u2019s voice has been heard on count\u00adless radio ads, and tele\u00advi\u00adsion themes, and was fea\u00adtured through\u00adout the sound\u00adtrack of the film\u00a0<em>Casino Jack<\/em>, star\u00adring Kevin Spacey. Aaron is an active clin\u00adi\u00adcian and<br \/>\noffers reg\u00adu\u00adlar work\u00adshops across North Amer\u00adica and Europe. He is also the Artis\u00adtic Direc\u00adtor and co-founder of the inter\u00adna\u00adtional event,\u00a0<em>SING!
